Because the shaft flexes well, the ball launches easily even with an 8.5° loft, and golfers in their 70s with a head speed of 32–33 m/s have hit drives of over 200 yards. If you want the ball to turn over more easily, the 10.5° loft makes it easier to square the face and hit high-trajectory shots.
